Horse-Leader – this volunteer needs horse experience. They lead the horse and monitor it so the rider stays safe.
Side-Walker – make sure the rider stays steady on the horse. They communicate with the rider and reinforce what the riding instructor teaches.
Coach – for riders who are more independent and do not need a side-walker. They communicate with the rider and reinforce what the riding instructor teaches.
