Shamu

DOB: 5/30/98

Joined the Herd: 2004

Sex: Gelding

Breed: AMHA and AMHR Duel Registered Miniature Horse

Shamu came to Horses for Hope along with Clay and Sergeant in 2004.  He had a serious front leg injury and was only able to use 3 legs so his prior owner was going to euthanize him.  Gwen felt she could rehab him and she did! You can see in his photo that he can not just walk but jump as well.  He is named Shamu because his black and white coloring looks like the Orca whale at Sea World named Shamu! He is used for 4-H and in the camp program.
