Seasonal Therapeutic Riding Volunteer Training

Seasonal Therapeutic Riding starts on March 8th! We need your help to make this a successful season for our riders! If you have a passion for special needs kids and adults, love being outdoors, can commit volunteering 1-2 hours a week for the 10-week session and love the magic horses can do for humans this is the place to be!
We would like to invite you to our Horse Leader, Side Walker and Coach Volunteer Training Saturday, Feb 8th from 1:00-3:00 pm.
We need volunteers for:
Horse-Leader – Lead and monitor the horse.
Side-Walker – Walk beside the horse to make sure the rider stays safe in the saddle.
Coach – Communicate with the rider and reinforce what the riding instructor teaches.
Groomers – Groom and tack the horses prior to the ride. Horse-leaders, side-walkers, and coaches are welcome to sign up to groom prior to their ride times. Email debra@horsesforhope.org for more information on this position.
