Our 2018 Horse Camps are now accepting reservations – email for information on reserving your spot. For most weeks in the summer we have half and full day options.
Horse Camps: Horseback riding and other horse related activities including miniature horses are provided for campers. The standard horse camp is for children ages 7-14, the Pee Wee camp is for children ages 4-6 and the special needs camp is for children ages 8-15. Crafts and games are also part of our summer camps. Scroll down for camp week dates, pricing, and more information.
Horsemanship Camps: Natural Horsemanship is a method of training horses that uses pressure and the release of that pressure to teach the horse rather than pain and fear. In this camp students will learn how horses use body language to communicate with each other. They will then learn how to use their own body language to communicate with the horse. This style of training gets the horse to relax and feel safe with it’s handler. As the bond between horse and handler grows the results can be amazing. This camp consist of groundwork only. Due to the advanced nature of this camp the minimum requirement is age 10.
If you are interested in signing up for Track-out camps please email us with which week you would like. Age limit is 7-14. All track-out weeks are 1/2 day camps and run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – $200/week.
